Hot! Kerri Strug Returning To The Olympics For The 2012 London Summer Games

Its time once again for the Summer Olympics, which will forever bring to mind famous moments of past Olympics - and one has to be Kerri Strugs one-footed vault to win the U.S. womens gymnastics team a gold medal in 1996 in Atlanta.

Now Strug is 34 and a new mom to Tyler William, born March 1, but shes getting involved in the 2012 London games by working with the Hilton HHonors Support the Dream program, which allows fans to send inspirational messages to Olympians. Strug tells the Big Lead about the program.

The Hilton HHonors Support the Dream program is a great way for everyone to feel like they are part of the Olympic experience. Not everyone can compete in the Games or be in London, but everyone can show their support for Team USA, Says Strug. The Support the Dream program is really special because for every message posted, Hilton HHonors is going to contribute refurbishments to U.S. Olympic Training Centers, which will give the athletes a comfortable place to rejuvenate after their long days of training.

As for the 2012 Olympics, Strug weighs in on what she thinks will be some highlights.

I think both the womens and mens gymnastics teams will be teams to watch in London this summer, and of course seeing Michael Phelps compete again will be a great experience, says Strug. The best thing about the Olympics is that you never know exactly what is going to happen and I look forward to seeing what stories unfold.
